Pensierini Founder

I got my degree in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language from the University for Foreigners in Perugia, where I also completed a certificate (DILS-PG) in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language.

The story

Pensierini was created in 2018, from an idea that Ugo Coppari e Federica Crescentini had, to create a useful blog for all the students who want to learn Italian as a second language through writing.

In 2019, thanks to a collaboration with illustrator Valerio Compagnone, we started Pensierini Magazine, in which the best essays written by our students are published, along with illustrations, and little quirks of Italian language, culture, and society : a useful tool for all those readers who want to practice by reading essays written in simple, clear Italian.

The magazine owes its existence to a crowdfunding campaign, in which many showed their belief in our project: students, writers, and readers who have since become an integral part of our community, this great scattered class.

2020 saw the start of online lessons and webinars. For the future we are already organizing a Pensierini Festival, a reunion for our whole community.
